MD: Barman Chris Hannah has a statue of himself behind the bar, made by a fan. He’s that well loved. So this is the place to come if you want to sample an authentic New Orleans Sazerac or the namesake French 75, which Hannah and the rest of the able bar staff make like the absolute pros they are. The atmosphere is a classic movie version of New Orleans, so come appropriately dressed. Just about any who’s who of Whosville has passed through Arnaud’s since the place opened in the 1920s to sample the soufflé potatoes and all sorts of oysters prepared all sorts of ways. Photographs of famous visitors line the staircase in the back, which leads up to a slighty eerie but utterly fantastic Mardi Gras museum. And to top it off, there's an antique humidor of cigars—to purchase and smoke on site—adorned by a bust of Winston Churchill. Don’t miss it.
